Visitor centre
The Ivan Vitić Cultural Center in Komiža is the location of the Geopark Vis Archipelago visitor center which consists of the multimedia hall, geological library and offices of the Geopark employees. Promotional materials, souvenirs and all other information are all available to visitors at the Center.
The Cultural Center was successfully renovated in 2013, after the completion of a campaign called „A Thousand Pixels for Vitić“ initiated by the Association of Croatian Architects.
Renowned Croatian architect Ivan Vitić, known for his post-WWII modern architecture, took special pride in this work of his, and today this pearl of Croatian modernist architecture favoured by Vitić as his most loved work, today houses the Cultural Center.
