Udruga Islomania

Islomania is a non-profit association for people who are in love with the sea and with the islands. The Islomania Association educates and prepares its members for the skills needed to enjoy recreational activities. It organizes courses, presentations, exibitions and workshops to promote ecological awareness, environmental protection, cultural heritage, renewable energy sources and, above all, healthy life. Our premier sports activity is SUP, which is a kind of meditation in the movement and an excellent way to get to know the sea on the island. It's easy to learn it, all you have to do is keep balance, paddle and enjoy. We will teach you about local winds and currents, the best rowing and security spots on the sea.
Islomania will also implement community service projects such as Coastal Cleaning with SUP and public awareness and education campaigns on SUP security and surf labeling.

Alma Čače

Alma Božanić Čače finished School of applied arts and design in Split in 1995. She enrolled in Academy of fine arts in Split (UMAS), department of visual arts and restoration and graduated in 2001.
On several occasions she held a few workshops, prepared 16 solo exhibitions and displayed her work in 16 joint exhibitions.
She is a member of associations HULU and KUST.
Painting is her occupation, and since 2012 she has had a status of a freelance artist.
She lives and works in Split.
In the range of motifs and subjects, what predominates are the landscapes of the hometown Komiža and magic journeys into the world of imagination where the island heritage is being reflected, as well as  the author's own search where  less and less figural compositions and portraits are found. Creating partly in the tradition of abstract expressionism as well, Alma Božanić Čače is also searching for her own matrix of abstract pattern which is compatible with her personality and subtle changes of internal states during the painting process itself.
